St Helena is dotted with an array of shops and entertainment venues along with dozens of restaurants. The best fine dining option in St Helena is Press Restaurant where you will find golden osetra caviar and 60-day-aged tomahawk steaks served in a luxurious atmosphere. The Gatehouse Restaurant is on the historic campus of the Greystone Cellars and The Culinary Institute and much of the produce used in the restaurant is grown in the Gatehouse Gardens. The Chef at Charter Oak is the same as the three-starred Michelin Chef at Meadowood, Chef Christopher Kostow. They have gorgeous, intimate spaces for private events where he will create a special menu for you paired with premium cocktails.
 
The Goose and Gander is a rustic gastropub with a seasonal menu and retro-inspired cocktails. Gott’s is a roadside cafe and a James Beard American Classic. The Brasswood Bar and Bakery provides artisan baked goods along with sandwiches and salads in their cafe. They are a great spot to get a charcuterie board to go with your Napa wine.
 
Meadowood in Napa Valley is a family estate and private resort on a 250-acre vineyard. Their Wine Center provides an immersion into their wines and the history of the region. Their swimming complex has three different swimming pools and they have five tennis courts available for guests. Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch serves dishes fresh from their ranch, farm, and vineyard. At their farmers’ market, you can find grass-fed meat, heritage eggs, and fresh produce.

Things to Do

 
Moore Creek Park has 1,600-acres of rugged terrain to explore on horseback, mountain bike, or by foot. Charles Krug, at the Peter Mondavi Sr Family Estate, hosts the Napa Valley Film Festival, comedy nights, and concerts where you could see stars such as Damien Escobar, The Psychedelic Furs, or Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
 
Annually, in June, Napa Valley hosts the Auction Napa Valley, a philanthropic event benefiting children’s education and community health. The St Helena City Fire Department hosts an annual Lobster Feed to raise funds for the fire department.
